Launch Second Baseman Morales Injured Thursday, March 22nd , 2068 Miguel Morales at first refused to leave today's Honolulu-Cape Canaveral game after he suffered an oblique strain while running the bases. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Cape Canaveral second baseman said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Morales out of action for 2 weeks. |
