Petersen Smacks 5 Hits for Jail Break Friday, September 24th, 2060 It was a parade of hits for Sherman Petersen of the Alcatraz Island Jail Break at Welsh Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Petersen finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Jail Break to a 10-6 victory. "Petersen was really good and we were really bad," groaned Cuervo manager San Jose GM . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Sherman Petersen singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Fred Craig in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
