Hitting Streak Still Alive for Harper Thursday, May 13th , 2066 The Tequila Worms fell to the Columbus Explorers in Orangutans Ballpark today, even as 27-year-old third baseman Robert Harper upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Harper finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Worms from dropping the 5-4 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Harper. Robert Harper grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and walked in the 9th. So far on the season Harper is hitting .261 with 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 29 hits and played in 28 games. |
