East St. Louis Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Thursday, July 9th , 2065 Belchyor Capo said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the East St. Louis Eagles after they missed the POTD Double A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Eagles have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 42 years as a POTD Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 16th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2049. East St. Louis has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
