Red Barons Get Zip in 16-0 Loss to Cavazos Friday, April 22nd , 2067 The New England Red Barons were almost helpless today in their 16-0 loss to the Laramie Hawks and hurler Miguel Cavazos. Cavazos kept the Red Barons confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Cavazos," New England manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had 3 walks and 9 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Cavazos said.
