Hernández Takes Best Bat Trophy in May Tuesday, June 1st , 2066 When Miguel Hernández stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Atlantic League Batter of the Month award. The young Raleigh first baseman posted a .267 batting average with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Hernández also worked pitchers for 10 walks to post a .340 on-base percentage.
