Mitchell Earns ATL Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, June 1st , 2069 When Blair Mitchell takes the mound, a Pine Bluff victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and a 2.22 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 48.2 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing batters to a .250 average. That's why the Man Trolls starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Atlantic League. This season Mitchell has compiled a 8-1 mark, 2.36 ERA and made 11 starts. |
