League Suspends Turner and Sandoval for Fisticuffs Saturday, June 18th, 2061 Travis Turner of the Brighton Fightin' Squirrels and Pedro Sandoval of the Bar Harbor Lobstermen will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Fightin' Squirrels-Lobstermen game at Republic Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Turner and Sandoval will begin serving them soon. Turner on the season is hitting .322 with 5 home runs. His stats include 23 RBIs and 54 runs scored. This year Sandoval has compiled a 3-5 mark with a 3.22 ERA in 11 starts. |
