Herbert Goes 5-for-7 Against Orlando

5 times is the charm -- at least for Dan Herbert.
The Beloeil Barracudas shortstop tore up the Orlando Jailbreakers to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Beloeil Grounds today. The offensive onslaught from Herbert powered the Barracudas to a 35-9 win.
"Herbert was a tough out today," Orlando manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Dan Herbert struck out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Pedro Guzmán in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
So far this year Herbert is batting .313 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
