Ozark Draws Blanks Against Dundee
Monday, August 21st, 2062
In an outstanding mound performance, Richmond Ravens starter Stephen Dundee fired a complete-game shutout against the Ozark Outlaws at Incest Stadium today.
Dundee was the key to the Ravens's 11-0 win. The 24-year-old left-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 2 hits and 1 walk he allowed.
"2 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."
This season Dundee has a 23-3 mark in 26 starts with a 1.29 ERA. He has given up 82 hits in 216 innings, struck out 449 and issued 52 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .115 batting average against him.
