30-Game Hitting Streak for Rodríguez Friday, May 29th , 2065 Francisco Rodríguez continued his streak at Ballpark of Neillsville today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Saskatoon right fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 30 games. The Legends were not as fortunate, losing 9-3 to the Green Bay Huskies. "Rodríguez was hitting everything we threw at him," said Green Bay manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Francisco Rodríguez walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Rodríguez is hitting .371 with 8 home runs and 51 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .433 clip and scored 51 runs. |
