Whitehead ATL Winner, Top Hurler in July Friday, August 1st , 2064 July was a very good month for Dennis Whitehead of the Summit County Soap Box Derby. He held opposing hitters for a .245 average and took home the Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month award. In 6 starts he claimed a 5-1 record as he put up a 1.70 ERA and struck out 44 in 42.1 innings. So far this year Whitehead has compiled a 5-5 record with a 4.35 ERA. |
