Officers Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Sunday, August 25th , 2069 A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Buffalo Officers outlasting the Raleigh Peppers to advance to the Round 2. Buffalo won the final game by a score of 17-0 and took the series 3-2. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Buffalo third baseman Rafael Colchado, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Colchado hit .500 with a .591 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Buffalo Officers will play against the Rothschild Leaves in the next round.
