5-Hit Blitz by Walker Saturday, June 30th , 2074 Sam Walker was sizzling at the plate. The Louisville catcher blistered the Buffalo Officers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 12-10. "Walker was too tough to get out today," Officers skipper said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Sam Walker was hit by a pitch in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off George Wood in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Santiago Soto in the 7th, struck out in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Uhi Pomgia in the 11th and doubled in the 12th.
