Córdoba Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 10th, 2059 Felipe Vázquez said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Córdoba Sky Sox after they missed the POTD Rookie League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Sky Sox last missed the playoffs in 2057. In the 30 years they have been a POTD Rookie League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 20 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
