Player of the Week: Greensboro's Wells Monday, July 25th , 2067 Ken Wells is respected by most Greensboro Gappers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Colonial League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .409 average (9-for-22) with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this year, Wells is batting .290 with 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
