Williams Homers 3 Times Against Bakersfield

Michael Williams went yard three times in a Mason Victors victory over the Bakersfield Firewalkers at Bakersfield Fields.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Mason third baseman went 3-for-5 against Bakersfield with 11 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Victors to the 22-14 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Michael Williams walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
To date Williams has chalked up a .290 average with 11 home runs, driven in 42 runs and scored 31 times.
