Great Stroke: López Gets 5 Hits Monday, August 4th , 2070 Port Monmouth third baseman Ramón López had a big day at Rothschild Grounds today against the Rothschild Leaves. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Caribous to a 27-1 triumph over Rothschild. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," López said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Ramón López singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Nabil Loiseau in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
