 | Goshawks Clinch Wild Card Friday, August 17th, 2063 It was no easy task for the Modesto Goshawks to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the POTD Rookie League postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the Outback League," said center fielder Harvey Turner. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 40-20 and they will be vying for the 3rd POTD Rookie League championship in franchise history. |   |
