St. Louis Advances to Round 3 Sunday, September 6th , 2065 The fans in St. Louis are celebrating the Robots victory over the Port Monmouth Caribous in the Round 2. They defeated the Port Monmouth Caribous 9-3 in the finale played at Caribous Ballpark to capture the series 4-1. Tim Shepherd was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Robots center fielder batted .350, drove in 8 runs and scored 4 runs in the series. "The Caribous are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Shepherd said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The St. Louis Robots don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Córdoba Sky Sox - Hong Kong Phooey series. Córdoba leads the series 3 games to 1.
