OBL Top Batter Trophy Won by Rollins Friday, September 1st, 2062 For a rookie just breaking in, Robin Rollins certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the OBL Batter of the Month award for August. The 19-year-old right fielder for the Port Monmouth Caribous hit .397 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Rollins is batting .364 this season in 60 games with 10 home runs, 53 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 239 at-bats. |
