Vautrin Cracks 5 Hits
Saturday, May 25th , 2075
Boston Revolution second baseman Esteban Vautrin went 5-for-6 and paced the 9-7 Boston victory over the Laredo Border Jumpers at BackWet Stadium.
"Well, that was fun," Vautrin said, following the game.
Esteban Vautrin doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI double in the 11th.
For the season, Vautrin is batting .243 with 36 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 14 times and batted in 17.

Philadelphia-Alcatraz Island Fight Results in Suspensions
Friday, May 24th , 2075
Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Philadelphia-Alcatraz Island contest at The Rock. The Cheesesteaks Chris Hall and the Jail Break Arthur Peet will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl.
So far this season, Hall is hitting .271 with 7 home runs, 26 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 166 at-bats and a .324 OBP.
This year, Peet has worked 50.2 innings with 59 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and a 3.20 ERA.

Injury Setback for Ravens González
Friday, May 24th , 2075
The road to recovery is going to be a little longer for Richmond shortstop Vicente González. The team announced today that González suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will not return to the roster for at least one week. He is being treated for a finger blister.
This season, González has posted a batting average of .212 with 11 hits in 52 at-bats, 1 home run and 8 RBIs. He has also scored 9 runs, walked 5 times and compiled a .305 OBP.
