Another Setback for Richmond's Albert Dyer
Sunday, May 16th , 2077
The Richmond Ravens announced today that Albert Dyer will miss an additional 2 weeks after the first baseman suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a strained oblique. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Ravens want Dyer to take his time and fully recover before coming back.
This season, Dyer is batting .323 with 5 RBIs, 5 runs scored and no home runs.

Rebow Socks 300th HR
Saturday, May 15th , 2077
Back-back-back-gone! Ed Rebow hit his 300th home run tonight against the Redstone Ridge Raptors.
Rebow, of the Crab Apple Cove Mashers, smiled as he rounded all the bases and got mobbed by his teammates at home plate.
The game did stop momentarily as the Mashers celebrated this accomplishment.
"I was swinging for the fences and the pitch looked like a giant grape fruit," Rebow said. "This is another check off my bucket list. I'll now be setting my sights the next milestone."
The Mashers first baseman went 2 for 4 with 1 home run and 1 RBI as the Crab Apple Cove Mashers won 2-1 over the Redstone Ridge Raptors.
Career-to-date Rebow has rung up a .276 average, played in 1503 games and collected 356 doubles, 37 triples and 300 home runs.

Clifford Duncan collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Richmond Ravens, beat the Honolulu High Tide, 7-0.
"Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Duncan quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking."
Clifford Duncan flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
Duncan currently has a .344 batting average with 52 hits, 7 homers, 28 RBIs, 25 runs scored and a .377 OBP.
