The Boston Revolution and starting pitcher Greg Payne stifled the Washington offense en route to a comfortable 9-0 win at Jackie Robinson Place. The win elevated the Revolution to 59-48.

Roberto Cabrera, who is a three-time All-Star, chipped in for Boston with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.

Revolution manager had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
