Ron Collins never let the Monuments get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Storm to a win, 3-1. Earning the save was Juan Marino. He's now cashed in 31 of 33 save opportunities. West Island , at 67-42, sits in first place in the Appalachian Coastal.

Washington could barely put a dent in Collins. The right-hander tossed 119 pitches over 8 innings for the Storm, allowing only 4 hits.
