McCormack Slugs Crop Circles to 5-4 Win
The Iowa Crop Circles dealt the Boston Revolution a 5-4 loss at The Cornfield. Don McCormack was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. With the victory, the Crop Circles upped their record to 83-55.

The Crop Circles got an important contribution from right fielder Kyle Christopher, who in the bottom of the second punched a full count fastball into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 31st double of the season and put the Crop Circles ahead, 4-1.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," McCormack said.
