Anderson Tags Lobstermen for 5 Hits
Chihuahuan second baseman Michael Anderson had a big day at Vanquishers Ballpark against the Bar Harbor Lobstermen. The 23-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 13-4 Chuckwallas triumph over Bar Harbor.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Anderson said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Michael Anderson singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.

This year, Anderson is hitting .368 with 7 home runs.
