Best PAC Reliever Named

When Dylan Chapman jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.

The
Brighton Fightin' Squirrels reliever turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Pacific League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2073.

His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 2 saves in 30 relief appearances, 44 strikeouts in 40.1 innings and only 8 walks. He had a record of 4 wins and 3 losses to go with his 2.90 ERA.

"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.

He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 28. Teika Hayashi of the Crab Apple Cove Barrels finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Bobby Carey of the Brighton Fightin' Squirrels finished third with 1 first place vote.

Deleón Grabs ATL Reliever of the Year Award

César Deleón was a calming influence out of the Flushing Falcons bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 26-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Atlantic League Reliever of the Year Award for 2073.

The Russellville, Arkansas native won the award with 19 saves in 32 relief appearances, 76 strikeouts in 70 innings and a record of 6-7 to go with his 2.44 ERA.

He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 28. Jesús Flores of the Ft. Collins Rams finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Rocky Martin of the Ft Levenworth Rock Crushers finished third.
