Sargent on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Saturday, May 26th , 2074 The Yellowknife Wolverines topped the Luray Bulldogs by a score of 23-7 at Gumlog Grounds, but all the talk was centered on center fielder Bill Sargent. The Yellowknife star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Sargent went 5-for-5, collecting 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 6 runs batted in and 5 runs scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Sargent said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in." Bill Sargent tripled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th.
