						Alcatraz Island Jail Break starter Hsin-pei Gui worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the Washington Monuments, 6-0. The winning pitcher was Gui, now 4-3. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. The win boosted Alcatraz Island to 42-24.
  Floyd Gibbs, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gibbs contributed a 2-run  home run in the top of the third inning to put Alcatraz Island up, 2-0.
  "It was a tough night at the plate," said Washington manager Ed Malloy.
