Cardenas at His Best, Blanks Philadelphia Thursday, June 5th , 2070 It was a smooth and solid performance by Ricardo Cardenas of the Iowa Crop Circles against the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks today. He crafted a fine 4-hitter to blank the Cheesesteaks 7-0. He chalked up 9 strikeouts and no walks along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Iowa skipper Andy Ward. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy."
