Foster Slaps 5 Hits Monday, May 16th, 2061 No matter what the Washington Monuments threw at him today, Christian Foster hit it. He easily handled Monuments pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the High Tide to a 7-5 triumph at Champagne of Beers Field. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Foster's quip, Monuments skipper Udo Bechtluft said he "would take him up on that next time." Christian Foster singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
