Homer #300 for Minneapolis's Cortés

It was a historic day in the life of Salvador Cortés. The 31-year-old Minneapolis shortstop recorded the 300th homer of his career in the Maulers 11-0 triumph over the Vermont Lake Monsters.
In the clubhouse after the game, Cortés told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one."
Cortés has a lifetime .268 average with 1268 hits, 209 doubles, 24 triples, 301 home runs and 822 RBIs to date.
