Nuri Belts 5 Hits Monday, August 26th, 2058 It was a hits blitz for Aras Nuri at Trump Stadium today. The Minneapolis Maulers first baseman tore into the Atlantic City Aces for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Aces swept past the Maulers 15-9 to ruin Nuri's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Minneapolis manager Trevor Derr explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Aras was nice but it wasn't enough." Aras Nuri hit a solo-shot off Paco Sánchez in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Juan Suárez in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
