Great Stroke: Malone Gets 5 Hits Friday, August 29th , 2064 Rod Malone had an answer for everything the Death Valley Burn threw at him today at The Burn Yard. The Redstone shortstop went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Ridge Raptors on top, 18-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Malone said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Rod Malone singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Pablo Medina in the 8th.
