Solid Gold Carpenter Named PAC's Best Pitcher Wednesday, May 1st , 2075 When the Solid Gold skipper wrote Carpenter on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in April he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 2.62 ERA in 4 starts. The gifted Solid Gold star pitched 24 innings, fanned 17 and held opposing teams to a .269 average. For his excellent mound work Carpenter was named the PAC Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. |
