Lancaster-Moline Brawl, Wright and Daniel Suspended Tuesday, June 1st , 2077 Billy Wright of the Lancaster Lightning and Mike Daniel of the Moline Mavericks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Lightning-Mavericks game at Guerilla Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Wright and Daniel will begin serving them soon. This season, Wright has banged out 23 hits in 72 at-bats for a .319 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .424 pace and his totals also include 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year, Daniel has worked 50.1 innings with 38 strikeouts en route to a 4-2 record and a 1.97 ERA. |
