Tuesday, May 7th, 2058
Ralph McCormick has to call it a season. The Flushing Falcons reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Raleigh Revolution and will not play again this year according to club doctors. McCormick was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 months.
This season McCormick has picked up no saves and posted a 2-1 record with a 4.63 ERA. He has no relief appearances, tossed 23.1 innings and struck out 21.
