Gilbert Takes Charge, Blanks Key West , 18-0 Thursday, April 29th , 2066 Rob Gilbert held the Key West Lime Suckers to 3 hits and fashioned a fine 18-0 shutout at Goldbugs Ballpark today. Speaking after the game, Crab Apple Cove Barrels manager said "Gilbert had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Gilbert rung up 11 strikeouts and surrendered 5 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Key West manager told reporters.
