Duluth Blanks Intimidators, Scott Wins Wednesday, June 4th , 2070 In a seemingly effortless performance, Darren Scott of the Duluth Red Devils shot down the Kannapolis Intimidators 1-0 on a 1-hit shutout. "Darren was just locating so well and using his pitches," Duluth manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Scott recorded 8 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Kannapolis manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
