Santiago Jr. Nets ATL #1 Pitcher Award Monday, July 1st, 2058 In June, Luis Santiago Jr. tore through the Atlantic League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Pine Bluff starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 0.85 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 31.2 innings he collected 24 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .185 average. So far this season Santiago Jr. has a 8-1 record with a 1.81 ERA. |
