Malone Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, May 22nd , 2075 No matter what the Moline Mavericks threw at him, Kelsey Malone hit it. He easily handled Mavericks pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Revolution triumph, 13-12, at Cincinnati Grounds. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Malone's quip, Mavericks skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Kelsey Malone singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
