Wesman Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 1st , 2073 Crab Apple Cove second baseman Larry Wesman put on quite a show at Red Jackets Ballpark with a big 5-hit day in his team's 7-5 victory over the La Paz War. "Not a bad day at the plate, 5-for-5," he said in the postgame interview. "Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average, and my salary, too." Larry Wesman singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Willie Corbin in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jorge Montoya in the 9th.
