Barrels Buried - Out of Playoffs Monday, July 24th , 2073 The Crab Apple Cove Barrels have struggled throughout this season and now they have officially been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "Obviously we knew things had not been going to smoothly, but this still stinks," said catcher Rubén Molina The Barrels have made the playoffs 13 times in their 50 years as a POTD Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2064. In the last 10 seasons, the Barrels have missed the playoffs 8 times.
