Cintrón Blisters Mankato Thursday, May 25th, 2062 Pedro Cintrón was on fire today and sparked his club to a 13-4 victory over the Minutemen. The Crab Apple Cove left fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Mankato in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Pedro Cintrón singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Thus far this season in 41 games Cintrón is batting .295 with no home runs, 19 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 173 at-bats. View Boxscore |
