Star of the Week Selected in ATL Monday, June 5th, 2062 So far in his young career, Ralph Menéndez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Atlantic League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Rancho Cucamonga Cucarachas first baseman hit at a torrid .643 clip as he collected 18 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Menéndez is presently hitting at a .394 pace with 8 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 52 games and scored 34 times. |
