Sandoval Booms 3 Homers
Thursday, July 15th , 2066
Raúl Sandoval brutalized the Bar Harbor Lobstermen pitching staff, launching three home runs in today's 8-7 victory at Onslaught Ballpark. The Chihuahuan Chuckwallas right fielder was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day.
"I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one."
For the game, he went 3-for-4 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"Too much Raúl Sandoval today," Lobstermen manager said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to."
Raúl Sandoval struck out in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Benton Carney in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Don Hart in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Matsusuke Sato in the 8th.
Sandoval is swinging at a .263 pace on the year with 17 home runs, 55 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 76 games.
