20-Game Hitting Streak for Beach Saturday, August 19th , 2073 Jack Beach of the GreenCard Players extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 4-3 triumph over the Laramie Hawks at Ranchers Ballpark. "Jack has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Players manager joked after the game. Jack Beach struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Adam Adams in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. For the year, Beach has hit .285 with 6 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 40 runs. |
