Rock Crushers Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire Thursday, September 7th , 2073 A classic and dramatic Round 2 has wrapped up, with the Ft Levenworth Rock Crushers outlasting the New England Red Barons to advance to the Round 3. Ft Levenworth won the final game by a score of 5-4 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Ft Levenworth first baseman Yakamochi Yamamoto, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Yamamoto hit .348 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Ft Levenworth Rock Crushers will play against the Chihuahuan Chuckwallas in the next round.
