Deleón Grabs ATL Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, September 24th , 2073 César Deleón was a calming influence out of the Flushing Falcons bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 26-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Atlantic League Reliever of the Year Award for 2073. The Russellville, Arkansas native won the award with 19 saves in 32 relief appearances, 76 strikeouts in 70 innings and a record of 6-7 to go with his 2.44 ERA. He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 28. Jesús Flores of the Ft. Collins Rams finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Rocky Martin of the Ft Levenworth Rock Crushers finished third.
