Starting pitcher Raúl Adame was a major factor in the 6-2 Death Valley Burn triumph over the Iowa Crop Circles. The Burn have now won 6 straight.

The Burn got a big at-bat from shortstop Sergio Olivares. For the game, Olivares was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Death Valley a 2-0 lead.
